Hotel history

The building where the hotel is located dates back to the Wallenstein period and was declared a cultural monument in 1964. In 2003, the Consultour company, represented by Tomáš Král, purchased the building. First, the front part was repaired, where a five-bed apartment is available. The reconstruction of the rear building (today's hotel) started in 2008. This was a more complicated event, as the preservationists requested the preservation of the original building. In addition, the city walls and neighboring buildings prevented better access to the house. In May 2010, after many difficulties, the three-star hotel with 25 beds was opened for the first guests. In the first year, tourists from more than 20 countries of the world stayed here. According to the official category, the building is classified as Garni***, but the staff tries to offer clients some of the services of a four-star hotel.

The hotel is based on a family atmosphere and a friendly approach to guests. The interior is in the old Italian spirit, where the owner was inspired by small hotels during his frequent trips to Italy.
